The most overlooked question today is: Who will govern superintelligence and our collective future? We envision a world where people have digital twins that represent and extend them. Co-owned hardware enables mass autonomy at the energy and compute layers. If governments or large labs control millions of high-end GPUs, an equivalent must be co-owned by a broad cohort of people to power individual exocortices and rebalance the world’s intelligence. FAI will power this movement by:
  • Serving as a digital currency to represent and transact co-ownership of compute resources (e.g., an NVIDIA GPU data center)
  • Supporting alternative AGI research (e.g., trained on deeper societal patterns) - i.e building simulations to create policies for networks
  • Funding and prototyping new compute hardware (e.g., photonics)
